The Department of Physical Education, TSRMCHRC is having a sound infrastructure over vast area with provision of all the necessary facilities to each and every individual.
➢The sports faculties include a huge and well- maintained sports ground.
➢The facilities atTSRMCHRC has vibrant infrastructure over vast area with provision of all the necessary facilities to each and every individual.
➢We have Indoor Courts for various games namelyCarrom,Table Tennis, Chess.
➢Good outdoor grounds for Basket Ball,Cricket,Foot Ball, Throw Ball, Volley Ball, Tennis, Badminton, Tennikoit, Ball Badminton, Track events and yoga practices.
➢TSRMCHRChas Gym facilities separately for men & women. – 4 stations for women and 8 stations for men.
➢Coaching provided for all indoor and outdoor games.
➢The Department of Physical Education maintains a stock issuing register to issue the required sports equipments to students against their college ID cards.
➢Students are selected for the participation of inter medical sports in various games through a rigorous screening process.
➢A large number of intra – college competitions named as “SPORTIFA” under the caption of competitions is regularly held and an annual athletic meet is held every year.
➢ every year, the Head of Physical Education will elect the best sports person for outgoing student’s batch and given special award as best Sportsman, and woman award, under the guidance of the Staff Advisor, Sports Council.
➢Themain function of the College Sports Council is to organize Intra- College Sports events among the students of constituent batches and select the best among them for college Team, to represent at inter medical sports meet for the State & National level Tournaments.
➢It also organizes faculty sports events every year.
➢For the Inter Medical College Sports events, the best are selected to represent the Inter medical tournaments.
➢Each user group must advise the TSRMMCHRC Physical Director who is responsible for the sportsplay ground.
➢Physical Director will usually be available from 9:00AM – 07:00PM to assist the smooth running of the sports activities.
➢Emergency equipment comprises First Aid Kit boxes with Physical Director.
➢ The Institution encourages students to participate actively in extra-curricular activities.
